As I inch my way closer to winter break, I thought I’d start a series of blog posts giving a brief reflection on what I’ve learned in each of my core classes. Today I will start with my design development course. In this section, I learned proper ways to align elements, creative choices within logos, creating fictional client work, and so much more. It will certainly remain in my memory as one of my favorite classes all year.
Recently, our group has been working on a package design. And I’ve got to say, it has me excited. But overall, we’ve actually had a plethora of fun assignments. One of which is an advertisement project which allowed us to create our own brands, companies, logos, etc. Sometimes a very open project allows me to incorporate more of my artistic viewpoint. Looking back on the class, I can’t believe how much joy I got simply by giving effort with an open mind. Check out some of my favorite pieces below!
