Bleed Options

One of the only issues we have had with the printer at school has been its issue printing documents edge to edge. Even if we have a bleed built on our document, it will still print with a white margin surrounding the printed material. So how do we fix this? Well to tell you the truth, there was no magic button we needed to press to fix the printer. Instead, we would simply print our document on a larger piece of paper with crop marks to help determine where we needed to cut. For example, my Viable Psyche pop-up shop poster was built on a tabloid document, and needed to be printed on 12×18 paper, and cut on all four sides to get an accurate 11×17 print with a bleed.
